Couldn't recommend this class enough! No previous experience necessary.

I booked Chris' "Make Your Own Chopsticks and Serving Platter" class as an anniversary gift, knowing my partner has an interest in wood carving. To my surprise, after taking the class, I found myself falling in love with the hobby too - and I was pretty terrible at woodwork in high school! We both had an amazing time. Chris was not only an excellent teacher but also fantastic company. Whether you're a wood carving enthusiast or just curious to try something new, I highly recommend this class!

Chris was very easy to communicate with leading up to the class. He was flexible and booked us in at a time that best suited our schedule, and was quick to respond to any queries we had.

The class was also fantastic value for money. For $150 each, we got 5 hours of personalised, hands-on instruction. And that doesn't even take into account the amount of time Chris spent prepping everything for us and cleaning up our mess afterwards! He was with us every step of the way and provided everything we needed. He even made us tea!

We really appreciated just how personalised the experience was. Chris gave us the space and freedom to play around and find the carving techniques we were most comfortable with. He was also very encouraging and keen to help us make any design that we wanted to try out. We were thrilled with how our chopsticks and serving trays turned out! They're such nice keepsakes that we'll use every day.

The 5 hours honestly flew by. Beyond being a really skilled and patient teacher, Chris was just a great guy to hang out with. The class was a lovely way to spend the day. We will absolutely be back again.
