This Wood Tamer Micro Carving Axe may appear diminutive, yet it packs a mighty punch! Its small size makes it the perfect addition to any carver's arsenal, allowing it to be easily stored away in a toolbox.
It can be used in delicate carving work. You can make cuts by holding its head or ergonomic handle. However, the micro axe is also suitable for chopping small wood pieces as it has a durable 52100 steel blade.
This axe was designed by my good friend Timothy Henry and then in collaboration with Oleksey and Anna from Strongway Tools our Micro Carving axe was created. Strongway Tools make these for Wood Tamer and therefore they are made to the highest quality possible just like we have come to expect from all of their tools.
