Shipping Times
Orders are shipped 2-4 business days after placement and are sent via Australia Post. You will be supplied with a tracking number once shipped so you can keep track of where your parcel is at.
Please allow 5 business days for delivery and 10 business days for Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania.
Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday or Tuesday.
Australian Shipping Rates
A $14.95 AUD flat rate shipping fee applies on all orders.
If you require your parcel more urgently then you may select Australia Post Express Post shipping for $20.95 AUD which should arrive 1-2 business days after dispatch (location dependant).

RETURNS POLICY
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@woodtamer.com.au and send your item to: Wood Tamer, PO Box 3346, Wamberal NSW 2260, Australia.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Product details
The oak handles are intricately engraved using laser technology, providing a comfortable grip for the user. The blade offers exceptional sharpness, thanks to its advanced design. The Virobloc® security system ensures that the blade can be securely locked in both open and closed positions.

The OPINEL blades are made from a highly durable grade of stainless steel, with a hardness of 55-57 HRC and European origin. This steel has been carefully selected to provide exceptional corrosion resistance and superb mechanical performance. Its cutting edge boasts impressive sharpness and exceptional durability, withstanding frequent contact with tough materials like ceramics without the need for frequent re-sharpening. Additionally, stainless steel requires minimal maintenance under normal conditions of use, making it a convenient choice. However, it may become susceptible to damage when exposed to harsh environments, such as acids, salt water, or detergents.
The N°08 Limited Edition Engraved Handle Folding Knife features a blade inspired by traditional Turkish sabers, known as the Yatagan. Its exclusive convex profile guarantees the strength of the blade and facilitates easy regrinding.
Opinel handles are expertly crafted from durable and versatile beech wood, known for its strength and easy workability. Sourced from France, our beech wood features a uniform appearance and a light color that ranges from yellow to pink, with distinctive dark dashes throughout.
First created by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is present in all folding knives of the N° 06 series. Made with durable stainless steel, the Virobloc is composed of two parts: one fixed and one sliding. This innovative design not only securely locks the blade in an open position for safe use, but can also lock the blade in a closed position for safe transport.
