We are passionate about matching the right saw with your needs. If you are not sure which saw is best for your needs we encourage you to get in touch with your questions. We stock a range of saws that we feel cover the needs of most carvers but if there is a particular saw you are after, please ask and we can source it for you.

The majority of our saws are Japanese pull saws.  As the name suggests, rather than cutting on the forward or push stroke, these cut as you PULL the blade towards you. By cutting on the pull stroke you use less energy and have more control over the sawing action.  The smooth sawing action also means the tree will heal up quickly. It is important to understand how this works so you do not break the blade.
