Carpenter Flat Chisels

These carpenter chisels can be used in carpentry and major sculpture in wood carving. Carpenter's chisel are suitable for tough jobs, where heavy blows are needed. Robust forged blade is made of traditional spring steel and is heat treated to 59 HRc. The solid handle is made from hard and hefty oak wood enables firm grip and is strong enough to withstand heavy blows with a rubber or leather mallet.

In this type of wood carving a wood mallet can also used.
Ergonomic and elliptical handle shape allows comfortable carving without fatigue.

Each chisel is sharpened by hand.  The quality spring steel will hold its edge well and is suitable for use with both hard and soft wood. 

• High-quality carbon steel W1-7;
• 5mm metal thickness;
• 60-62 HRC (Rockwell);
• oak wood handle finished with linseed oil;
• for both soft and hard wood;

• 140mm blade length.
