Opinel Traditional Classic N°10 Stainless Steel 10cm
Product details
This stainless steel N°10 is suitable for both outdoor activities and challenging tasks, including trimming branches and working with dense materials.
The blade of this product is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The handle, crafted from beech wood, provides a comfortable grip. Additionally, the safety feature known as Virobloc® securely blocks the blade when open or closed.
10cm
The stainless steel used in the OPINEL blades is carefully selected to ensure both exceptional corrosion resistance and impressive mechanical strength. With a hardness of 55-57 HRC and European origin, this grade is designed to withstand regular contact with hard materials like ceramics without losing sharpness or succumbing to wear. While stainless steel typically requires no special maintenance, harsh environments with acid, salt water, or detergent may push it to its limits.
The Opinel Traditional Classic N°10 Stainless Steel blade features a classic Yatagan shape, inspired by the traditional Turkish saber known as the toe up. Its unique convex profile not only guarantees the blade's strength, but also makes it easy to resharpen.
Opinel handles are made from high-quality beech wood, known for its durability and ease of work. Sourced from France, our beech wood has a consistent appearance, with varying shades of yellow to pink and characteristic small dark dashes.
Invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring is a standard feature on all N°06 folding knives. Made of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two components - one stationary and one movable. In addition to securing the blade when in use, it also allows for the blade to be locked in a closed position for safe transport.
The N°10 Stainless Steel is suitable for both outdoor activities and challenging tasks like pruning branches and working with dense materials. Its stainless steel blade is highly resistant to corrosion, while the beech wood handle offers a comfortable grip. The Virobloc® security system securely locks the blade into both open and closed positions.
