Sharpens all materials
The DC-250 Diamond Wheel Coarse is compatible with the Tormek T-8 Original, Tormek T-8 Custom, Tormek T-7, and previous models with a 250 mm (9 7/8") diameter grinding wheel, making it suitable for grinding various materials such as steel, ceramics, and carbide.
The Diamond Wheel Coarse 360 grit for T-8 250mm is best followed by sharpening with a finer grinding wheel, like the DF-250 Diamond Wheel Fine or DE-250 Diamond Wheel Extra Fine, for optimal surface finish.
Simplifies repeat sharpening
The diamond grinding wheels from Tormek are extremely durable and maintain a consistent abrasive power, ensuring they remain round and flat with a full-size diameter. This feature is particularly beneficial for frequent users who need to sharpen the same tool, as it simplifies both jig setting and sharpening.
Get a completely flat bevel
Sharpening is easy with the constant shape of the wheel, allowing for both side and upper surface sharpening. It is ideal for smaller tools like knives, chisels, carving gouges, and v-tools, creating a flat edge rather than a slightly concave one.
We recommend using the MB-102 Multi Base and a jig specifically designed for your tool for optimal sharpening on the diamond grinding wheel. These provide support and control for an efficient sharpening process.
Rust protection for increased service life
To prevent rust and prolong the service life of your diamond grinding wheel, always add 150 ml of ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate to 250 ml of water when sharpening. This equates to a 4% concentration of concentrate. Using water also results in a smoother sharpening surface. You may also sharpen without water

Orders are shipped 2-4 business days after placement and are sent via Australia Post. You will be supplied with a tracking number once shipped so you can keep track of where your parcel is at.
