Shipping Times
Orders are shipped 2-4 business days after placement and are sent via Australia Post. You will be supplied with a tracking number once shipped so you can keep track of where your parcel is at.
Please allow 5 business days for delivery and 10 business days for Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania.
Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday or Tuesday.
Australian Shipping Rates
A $14.95 AUD flat rate shipping fee applies on all orders.
If you require your parcel more urgently then you may select Australia Post Express Post shipping for $20.95 AUD which should arrive 1-2 business days after dispatch (location dependant).

RETURNS POLICY
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@woodtamer.com.au and send your item to: Wood Tamer, PO Box 3346, Wamberal NSW 2260, Australia.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

The SP-650 Stone Grader enables you to customize the sharpening attributes of your Original Grindstone or Blackstone Silicon. By adjusting the characteristics, you can achieve a grit range of 220 to 1000. Use the fine side of the stone grader for finer sharpening, and the coarse side to maintain the grindstone and renew the grit, resulting in more efficient and coarser sharpening.

Fine sharpening or high material removal
The SP-650 Stone Grader enables you to modify the properties of the grindstone to match those of 220 to 1000 grit. By pressing the fine side of the SP-650 Stone Grader against the running grindstone, you can achieve a finer sharpening surface.
To enhance the material removal and increase the roughness of the sharpening, simply press down on the coarse side of the stone grader while the machine is running. After a few seconds, you'll notice a noticeable change in the surface and sound of the grindstone as it is graded.
Grindstones with adjustable grit
The Tormek SG-250 Original Grindstone, SG-200 Original Grindstone, and SB-250 Blackstone Silicon are adjustable from coarse to fine sharpening, thanks to the SP-650 Stone Grader.
Benefit from a coarse grindstone by rapidly removing a significant amount of steel and efficiently completing final sharpening without switching equipment. The process maintains a consistent sharpening angle without additional adjustments, except for the grit used.
SP-650 Stone Grader for maintenance
Utilize the rough surface of the stone grader as necessary to maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of your original grindstone or SB-250 Blackstone Silicon. Firmly press the grader against the stone for approximately 30 seconds. This technique causes no excessive strain on the stone and can be repeated indefinitely.
You can also use the fine side of the SP-650 Stone Grader to clean your SJ-250 or SJ-200 Japanese Waterstone similarly, avoiding the coarse side to prevent any damage to the grindstone.
