Create your own Tormek T-8 water-cooled sharpening system
The Tormek T-8 Custom comes with a stripped Tormek T-8 sharpening machine, only lacking the grinding and honing wheels. The package contains essential Tormek accessories: the HB-10 Tormek Sharpening Handbook for guidance, the WM-200 AngleMaster for precise bevel angle measurement, and the US-105 Universal Support for jig usage. Additional accessories can be purchased separately according to your needs.
Choose your grinding wheel
Select from a variety of grinding wheels to suit your specific needs, such as the versatile SG-250 Original Grindstone with adjustable properties ranging from 220 to 1000 grit, durable and hard diamond grinding wheels, the SB-250 Blackstone Silicon grindstone for shaping and sharpening HSS steel, or the 4000 grit SJ-250 Japanese Waterstone for a polished finish. The decision is yours!
Choose your honing wheel
In order to achieve optimal sharpness and remove the burr, an essential step is to use a honing wheel. The LA-220 Leather Honing Wheel, paired with our honing compound, is a highly effective method for achieving razor sharpness on your edge tools. For those who prefer not to use honing compound, the CW-220 Composite Honing Wheel, which includes an integrated polish, is a great alternative for removing the burr. Choose the option that best suits you.
Tormek T-8 – A powerful and versatile sharpening system
The Tormek T-8 is a highly adaptable wet sharpening system equipped with a durable AC motor designed to power the grinding wheel continuously without any maintenance. The motor is rigorously tested to ensure a service life of 25,000 hours, while the unique drive wheel enables consistent speed, even under heavy loads. With its dependable motor and signature Tormek drive system, this system offers years of quiet and dependable operation.
The Tormek T-8 sharpening system is equipped with advanced features like the Tormek EzyLock nut for convenient tool-free locking and unlocking of the grinding wheel, as well as a screw lift and magnetic scraper on the water trough. These features make it the ideal solution for sharpening all types of edge tools.
Please be aware that the Tormek T-8 Custom Sharpening System does not include a grinding wheel, honing wheel, or jigs. These items can be purchased separately to complete your system.
