Strongway 70mm Finishing/Turning Slöyd knife with Octagonal Handle

This great slöyd knife has been made from hard wearing 52100 steel which will hold its edge for a really long time especially with regular honing on a stropping paddle.

I have been using this knife for a while and absolutely love it.  It is a great finishing knife.  The 70mm means that you can make fine chamfer cuts down the length of a spoon handle.  The fine tip allows for really easy turns within a cut but also the narrow blade actually turns quite easily futher down the blade. There is a belly that runs from heel to tip with no straight spots. The spine is rounded making it comfortable for push and lever cuts. 

The octagonal handle allows for easy grip without fatigue and is finer than its larger 90mm Slöyd brother.

It comes razor sharp straight out of the quality leather sheath.

The sheath is made from 4mm leather that has been glued, stitched and riveted with burnished edges and includes a belt loop.
