With a hardness of 55-57 HRC, this steel offers superior sharpness and remarkable resistance to wear, making it ideal for regular use with hard materials such as ceramics. While requiring no special maintenance under normal conditions, stainless steel may succumb to harsh environments like acid, salt water, and detergent.
This billhook knife features a curved blade with beveled edges on both sides, making it perfect for precise shrub pruning and cutting ties.
Opinel handles are typically made with beech wood, a durable and easy-to-work material commonly used in France. Its light color ranges from yellow to pink and features small dark dashes, giving it a uniform appearance. This wood is highly recommended for its strength and quality.
The Virobloc safety ring, designed by Marcel Opinel in 1955, is a standard feature on all N° 06 folding knives. Made of stainless steel, it is composed of two sections: one fixed and one sliding. This innovative design not only secures the blade when in use, but also allows for safe transport when locked closed.
Orders are shipped 2-4 business days after placement and are sent via Australia Post. You will be supplied with a tracking number once shipped so you can keep track of where your parcel is at.
Please allow 5 business days for delivery and 10 business days for Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania.
Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday or Tuesday.
