This awesome carving axe is forged from 52100 steel. The 27° bevel and the pole (the back of the axe) have been polished to a mirror finish.

This carving axe is exceptional in quality and workmanship. People who have been carving for some time will tell you that there was nothing like this available for this price when they were starting out. Which means that it is fantastic as a first axe for carving but also means that you won't need to buy a cheap axe to start and then upgrade later on.

Its weight makes it a great every day axe especially for carvers just starting out, people whose arm fatigues quickly or as a secondary axe for more precise/close axing out.

It comes with a beautifully crafted leather sheath

Perfect for spoons

I’ve been carving for about 2 years , mostly spoons and have been wanting a nice axe for a while . This one is it ! Just got it yesterday and it exceeded expectations, it’s perfectly balanced handles well and holds an edge , I decided to really put it to the test on some black locust and it performed great, also I live in the USA and woodtamer had it to me in just under 3 weeks no problems with shipping at all , strongway tools and woodtamer will definitely be getting more buisness from me !
